    Our story

    Our customers are our friends.

    Nature's Nook began in a family home and has grown with Rexburg ever since. Three generations of our family have run the store. Our size and location have changed over the years. Our commitment to the people who shop with us hasn't.

    1. The beginning

      Doris and Clyde Stewart start Nature's Nook in their home, then move it into Rexburg just off Main Street.

    2. 1994

      On retiring, the Stewarts sell the store to Harley and Mary Jensen. Harley rents the space next door and doubles the size of the store.

    3. 2001

      After Harley's passing, Mary's son Rick Barton moves to Rigby and buys into the business.

    4. A new home

      Rick builds a new store on Valley River Road, giving Nature's Nook more room to serve the community.

    5. 2019

      Rick's son Treon buys out Grandma Mary. Today Treon runs Nature's Nook alongside his dad, Rick.
